About The Author

Thyme Lewis is a celebrated American actor, author, humanitarian and former Hollywood stuntman whose career spans three decades with over 200 appearances in tv and film. He first came to prominence for his work on the daytime soap series Days of Our Lives. He also produced several indie films starring Tom Sizemore, Stan Shaw and Christopher Rich. A lifelong altruist, he spent several deployments in the hurricane relief efforts working for FEMA during the 2017 Irma, Harvey, and Maria disasters.
 
A fifth generation Californian, Lewis was born in San Francisco on June 13th to artist Heidi McGurrin and late jazz drummer Art Lewis. He attended Carmel High School, studied Business Admin at SDSU and later, film at UCLA.
 
Discovering a passion for acting while attending college and for writing while working with FEMA, he began writing the MacGuffin series based on his varied life experiences. He hopes you enjoy these action thrillers and that you gain knowledge, insight and appreciation for the people who work in these industries. 
 
Now a mostly full time writer, Thyme resides in Carmel by-the-Sea. However, he returns to television this spring landing a co-staring role on Bosch Legacy – a gritty crime drama on Amazon Original. Look for him co-starring as Lt. Jack Deray in episode 207 of season 2 !
 

He is of Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, Haitian and Choctaw Indian descent.
